Two nights in Paso Robles, with a full story to capture. Our shoot at The Ava Hotel combined hotel and restaurant photography, staff headshots, and casual social video content. From rooftop dining to downtown wine tasting, we created a collection that shows both the property and the experiences guests can enjoy during their stay.

About the Ava Hotel Shoot

We arrived on a Monday and went straight into photographing the lobby and café, capturing the spaces alongside casual, behind-the-scenes content. That evening, we photographed dinner at Esperanza on the Rooftop before finishing with wine in the lobby wine bar and moments around the fire pits.

The next morning began with breakfast at Pine Street Bistro. From there, we followed a guest-inspired itinerary: renting bikes, taking a hotel-provided picnic basket to a nearby park, and visiting downtown Paso Robles tasting rooms. These lifestyle images helped connect the hotel to the neighborhood and give future guests ideas for their own stay.

Back at the property, we focused on the opening of EMRE. We photographed menu dishes and created headshots for the chef, manager, and team members. Between setups, we captured bartenders mixing drinks and candid social content showing the people behind the experience.

We finished with dinner service, photographing food and the atmosphere as the restaurant filled with guests. Across a two-night stay and three days including travel, we brought together hospitality photography, food imagery, portraits, and social video in one coordinated production.
